Welcome

Hello, I'm Emma Sautereau, a Relational Therapist

Life isn't always straightforward. Sometimes we find ourselves repeating the same relationship patterns, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with intimacy, or carrying emotions we've never had the opportunity to explore.

Therapy offers a confidential, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences and begin to understand yourself with greater compassion. Together, we’ll explore what’s brought you here, helping you move towards healthier relationships, improved emotional wellbeing and a life that feels more authentic.

How I can help

Whatever brings you here, you don't have to face it alone.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Low self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Attachment patterns
  • People-pleasing and boundaries
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Shame and self-criticism
  • Emotional regulation
  • Identity and life transitions
  • Sex, intimacy and sexuality
  • Sexual confidence and desire concerns

You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Many people simply know that something doesn't feel right. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Psychosexual Therapy

Alongside my individual therapy practice, I am currently undertaking Master's-level (Level 7) training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. I offer psychosexual therapy for concerns including desire, intimacy, sexual confidence, painful sex, erectile difficulties and relationship dynamics.

As part of my specialist training, I am currently offering a limited number of six-session psychosexual therapy packages at a reduced rate.

Not sure which type of therapy is right for you?

Many clients come to therapy seeking support for concerns that sit somewhere between emotional wellbeing, relationships and sexuality. These areas often overlap, and together we'll decide which approach is most appropriate for your needs. You don't need to know exactly what type of therapy you're looking for before getting in touch - we can explore that together during your initial consultation.

My approach

A warm, collaborative approach

I work pluralistically, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches depending on you and what you bring to therapy. This may include exploring how past experiences and attachment patterns influence the way you think, feel and relate today, alongside focusing on what is happening for you in the present.

I believe meaningful change happens within safe relationships. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognise recurring patterns and support you in making choices that feel authentic and lasting.
