Working together
Psychosexual Therapy in Winchester & Online
Safe, confidential and without judgement
The hardest things to talk about are often the ones worth talking about.
Sex and intimacy are deeply personal parts of our lives, yet they can often feel the hardest to talk about. Many people experience sexual or relationship difficulties at some point, but feelings of embarrassment, shame or fear of judgement can prevent them from seeking support.
Psychosexual therapy provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore concerns relating to sex, intimacy, relationships and sexual wellbeing. Whether your difficulties are recent or have been present for many years, therapy offers an opportunity to better understand what’s happening, reduce shame, improve communication and work towards a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and, where appropriate, your partner.

My approach
Not only the symptoms, but what sits underneath them.
My approach in psychosexual therapy is tailored to your individual needs. Together, we'll explore not only the symptoms you're experiencing, but also the emotional, relational and psychological factors that may be contributing to them. Depending on your goals, our work may include understanding attachment patterns, exploring relationship dynamics, addressing shame or anxiety, developing communication skills, psychoeducation about sexual functioning, and practical exercises to support change between sessions where appropriate.
Psychosexual therapy isn’t solely about improving sexual functioning. For many people, it’s about developing a healthier relationship with intimacy, increasing self-understanding, rebuilding confidence, strengthening emotional connection, and creating a more satisfying and authentic sexual life.
Training and reduced-fee psychosexual therapy
Specialist support, while I complete my advanced training.
I am currently undertaking Master's-level (Level 7) training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) and am a Student Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).
Psychosexual therapy may be offered to individuals or, where appropriate, couples. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for therapy, and whether this service is the right fit for your needs.
As part of my specialist clinical training, I offer a limited number of structured six-session psychosexual therapy packages at a reduced fee. This enables clients to access specialist support while I continue my advanced training. All psychosexual work is undertaken within professional and ethical guidelines and is supported by specialist clinical supervision.
